Zima a sneh je u nás v hlavnom meste stále, čomu sa čudujem, lebo sneh sa vždy zmení na nevábnu snehovú kašu. V sobotu sme sa s deťmi sánkovali, robili snehových anjelov, stavali snehové iglu. Úplne neočakávane v nedeľu prišiel balík so starinkami, ktoré som kúpila. Čakala som, že príde až cez týždeň. Krabica bola veľká, deti zvedavé a muž len prevrátil očami, čo za blbosti som to zase dotiahla domov. Medzi inými tam boli aj staré kravské zvonce. Ťažko odolávam vidieckym .... ako to nazvať potrebám, pre mňa sú to krásne dekorácie.
The snow here in town is everywhere, what I wonder, because snow always turns to an unattractive mush. On saturday our family enjoyed the snow, rode the sledge, made snow angels, build snow igloo. On Sunday came the packet with vintage pieces that I bought. It was totally unexpected. I was waiting to come up during the week. The box was big, kids were curious and my hubby just rolled his eyes, what stupid things I tightened back home. Among others vintage pieces, there were also old cow bells. I hardly resist to country.... how to say, pieces. They are beautiful decorations for me.
Minule som robila poriadky v starých časopisoch o bývaní a našla som číslo, ktoré mi bolo inšpiráciou pri zariaďovaní obývacej izby. Broskyňová farba na stenách, béžová moderná pohovka, nábytok v tmavom dreve, oranžové závesy a dekoračné vankúše. Skoro ako na obrázku v časopise. Ale to bolo pred ôsmymi rokmi. Zaujímavé, ako som zmenila vkus a pohľad na bývanie po rokoch. Keby mi niekto povedal, že moja vášeň budú starožitnosti, asi by som sa mu vysmiala :)
Last time I did some cleaning of old living magazines and I found one that was my inspiration for decorating the living room. Peach color on the walls, beige modern sofa, furniture in dark wood, orange curtains and decorative pillows. Much like the picture in the magazine. But that was eight years ago. Interesting, as I changed the taste and vision of living after years. If someone told me that vintage pieces will be my passion, I'd probably laughed at him :)
Minulý víkend nás navštívili príbuzný, mladý pár. Páčilo sa im naše bývanie (hlavne jej), kombinácia "moderného" a starožitností. Presne to ma najviac baví, kombinovať nové so starým, vidieckym, ošúchaným. Ale aby som nemenila tému, späť k tomu balíku a zvoncu. Vytiahla som zo skrine smrekovú umelú girlandu a uviazala veniec. Previazala jutovou stuhou a doplnila zvoncom.
Last weekend we were visited by a relative, a young couple. They liked the interior (especially she liked), combination of "modern" and antiques. That's what I enjoy the most, combine the new with the old, rural, ragged. But not to change the topic, lets go back to the pack and bells. I pulled out spruce faux garland from the closet and tied a wreath with a jute ribbon and added the bell.
P.S. Asi som sa veľmi tešila. Vždy, keď sa na niečo teším, presne viem, že to nedopadne slávne. Dva týždne vydržala, pekne si deň po dni odškrtávala a tak sa tešila na výlet s tatinom. Vo štvrtok ráno sa Lenka zobudila s horúčkou. Ach jo :(
