Nová Tabuľa / New Chalkboard

Veľmi som chcela mať kuchyni tabuľu na písanie. Prvý nápad bol, že bude na dverách. Lenže tie sú v tesnej blízkosti sporáka. Túto možnosť som zavrhla. Jediný priestor, kde by mohla byť, bola jedna strana chladničky. Natieranie som zavrhla hneď (aj keď na zahraničných blogoch som videla aj natrenú chladničku). 

Hľadala som na webe samolepiacu tabuľovú fóliu a našla som presne vo formáte, ktorý presne zapasoval. Urobila som objednávku, zaplatila, prevzala, bohužial aj vrátila (poslali mi iný formát), reklamovala a znovu prevzala. Snažila som sa naňu nakresliť niečo sofistikované. V detstve mi kreslenie celkom išlo, ale to bolo už veľmi dávno :))

I really wanted a chalkboard for writing in the kitchen. The first idea was that the board will be on the door. But they are close to the stove. I rejected this option. The only one area where it may be, is the one side of refrigerator. I rejected the painting immediately (even if I saw a painted refrigerator on the foreign blogs).

I looked for a black self-adhesive foil on the web and I found the proper format that exactly fits. I made an order, paid, picked up from post office, sent back (they sent me a different format), made a complain and picked up again. I tried to draw something sophisticated. I drew nicely as a child, but it was a long time ago :))

Kuchyňa / Kitchen sneak peek

Dnes máme vonku krásne bielo. Začal padať sneh a ešte stále sneží. Cez sviatky som Vám sľúbila fotky z kuchyne, keď bude slnečno. Slnko sa veľmi neukázalo, ale fotky mám. Nápis GROCERY visí nad dverami do pracovne. Vymenili sme osvetlenie, starý luster sa už nehodil a v bazári som objavila tento krásny kúsok. Pôvodne mal hnedú farbu, natrela som ho jednou vrstvou čiernej matnej a dostal ešte jeden nástrek čiernym akrylovým lakom.

Today we have a beautiful white outside. Snow began to fall and still snows. Over the holidays I promised you photos of the kitchen, when it is sunny. The sun did not show much, but I have pictures. GROCERY sign is hanging over the door to the office. We exchanged lighting, old chandelier did not fit already and I found this beautiful piece in the bazaar. Originally had a brown color, I painted it with one layer of matt black and got another black acrylic spray paint.

Vidím, že som z chladničky zabudla dať dolu "vianočný" veniec. Na chladničku budem lepiť samolepiacu tabuľovú fóliu. Na nete je toľko inšpirácie. Dúfam, že vyzistím nejaký super návod, ako nato. 

I forgot to put the "Christmas" wreath down, I see. I am going to stick a self-adhesive chalkboard on the refrigerator. There is so many inspiration. I hope to find some super easy tutorial how to write signs on it.

Keď tak pozerám na fotky, tak kuchyňa vyzerá celkom dobre, ale stále je ešte veľa nedokončenej práce. Najväčšia výzva bude premaľovať pôvodné laminátové kuchynské dvierka. Ďalší dôvod prečo sa tešiť na jar, že? Teraz máme dvojfarebné kuchynské dvierka. Na dvierka som vybrala tieto nádherné keramické úchyty v bielo-modrej kombinácii. Nie sú ešte na všetkým dvierkach. Čakám na doplnenie skladu.

When I see these pictures, kitchen looks quite good, but still there is a lot of work. The biggest challenge will be to paint the laminated kitchen cabinets. Another reason, why to look forward to spring, right? Now we have two colors kitchen cabinets. I chose these beautiful ceramic handles in white and blue combination. They are not fitted on each door, I am waiting to stock replenishment.

Na mojom zozname nedorobkov je toho ešte dosť - chýba digestor, treba nalepiť stropné lišty, namontovať soklový šuflík, namontovať soklové lišty, ušiť rímsku roletu, namontovať dekoračnú lištu na horné skrinky, a .....  by som mohla pokračovať až do večera. Do jari by som to chcela stihnúť.

On my to do list is more than enough - missing digestor, ceiling moldings must be glued, install plinth drawer, install baseboards, sew Roman shades, install decorative molding on upper cabinets, and ..... I could continue until the evening. I want to be done until spring will come.
